Digitalization as an element of sector improvement

Francisco Quintero, Commercial Director of Landmar Hotels, was in charge of opening the event, contextualizing the current tourist situation in the Canary Islands and highlighting the importance of holding meetings like The Hotel Hub for the sector.

Quintero emphasized that we are "at a moment of change in demand, The Hotel Hub is the ideal opportunity for hoteliers to meet, share our concerns, and discover real technological solutions hand in hand with great experts to face a more than likely new stage." He highlighted Landmar Hotels' strategy in diversification, integration of technological tools, and continuous training of teams.

During his speech, he reported on recent changes in tourist demand, revealing a 25% decrease in the pick-up for the summer season of 2024 compared to the previous year.
